A lovely display I've not seen potted foxgloves, the cafe/shop in Ticknall is Scoff and Shop, I hope you have a pleasant afternoon Rosalyn it's starting to brighten up

A first for me too with the foxgloves Peter. Scoff and Shop sounds like my kind of place!
It has been warm here with a breeze. So much better than those high temperatures! We had quite a lot of rain yesterday.

A cheerful and beautiful view. To have a cup of coffee or tea before buying flowers is a great idea. And I am surprised to still see foxgloves... Here they have been wilting for several weeks.

I was also surprised to see the foxgloves. Most of my poor garden
is wilting unfortunately.

I really like shops that display their wares outside..........delightfully old fashioned though it may be. In most cases it brightens up the high streets as well.

This shop is a cracking example...........the floral displays look really beautiful in the main image and both of the PiPs. Having a coffee (and possibly a cake) whilst making your mind up what to buy is a much better way of shopping.

Three wonderful images Rosa. I especially like the red flowers in the container under the lantern.

I agree, it is nice to see displays outside the shop. I didn't partake in refreshments this time, as the were quite busy, but now I know about it....next time!

Colourful and beautiful displays Rosa. It is unusual to have a coffee shop inside a greengrocer's shop but what a lovely idea. Two very attractive images. Were you tempted by the coffee shop? I would be!

It is a good idea Carol and it was quite busy the day I was there. I had my daughters dog with me at the time, so didn't go inside....but next time!! ;-))
