The Cheese & Grain ~ Frome

The Cheese and Grain is a not-for-profit music and entertainment venue in Frome, Somerset. Paul McCartney chose to rehearse there before his appearance at The Glastonbury Festival, not far away. 800 people were lucky enough to watch him.

You are right Gudrun. It was once Frome cattle market and farmer's market, but they have now moved to much larger premises out of town. No one knew until the day that Sir Paul was going to perform there.....then the queue was very long!! Thank you for your nice comments.

The car park around this building and the building itself was once Frome Cattle Market, but that has now moved out of town. The best and most recent history is Paul McCartney rehearing there for Glastonbury.
