Cheap Street, Frome.
Cheap street in Frome (pronounced froom) has retained its historic medieval character, with a leat running down the middle, carrying water from the stream beneath St John’s Church. There are a wide range of independent shops and cafes selling books, clothing, records, jewellery, bags & artisan food, bread and cakes. I did notice a couple of empty shops that I hope will soon be filled.

Sería menos peligrosa si estuviera cubierta con una rejilla de quita y pon con el agua a la vista.
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to José Manuel Polo clubNo, never cover the leat! It has been
like that for over 500 years :-)

Nice tones too.
A nice week to you!
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Eric Desjours clubbut it was a Bank Holiday Monday. Just a few of the shops open.
Enjoy the new week Eric.
Sadly, empty shops are becoming a feature here too. Longstanding family concerns that survived recessions and competition from supermarkets are finally succumbing to the economic reality of covid.
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Andy Rodker clubI am pleased you like this shot though, and long may the independent shops remain :-)
