Geometridae, Larentiinae - Wingspan: 38-44mm.

A common species throughout the UK, but only seen occasionally in Cornwall and mainly to the east of the county.

The flight season in southern UK is made up from two generations, adults occurring in May / June and August/ September. However, records show that in Cornwall, individuals have been seen from April to October, with most occurring in August.
