Geometridae, Larentiinae - Wingspan: 16-20mm.

A widespread little Pug occurring throughout the UK, which is easily recognised by the size, and the two black-edged cross-lines on the fore-wings.

The flight season in the UK is defined as two generations occurring late March / May and July / August, but in Cornwall, individuals can be seen all year round, with reduced numbers from November to February. The highest numbers are recorded in August.
