Geometridae, Ennominae - Wingspan: 24-28mm.

Another distinctive little moth with unmistakable wing patterns. A local species seen mainly in the south of the UK, it is most likely to be seen in the east of Cornwall, in woodland where Spindle trees are present.

The flight season in the UK is made up from two generations, late April / June, and July / early September, overlapping in June.
