The weather in Toronto's been crummy again this week, so here's some snow from a couple of years ago. I don't think I've posted this before, though.

Sami Serola (inactive), Diane Putnam, tiabunna, Ernest CH and 13 other people have particularly liked this photo

I don’t think you can get more downbeat than “ Here’s some snow from a couple of years ago” . I hope the weather improves soon. It’s the same here: light deprived days.

Thanks, Steve. We've also been having ice pellets and freezing rain, which makes getting around in winter even less enjoyable. I hope we both see some sun soon.

We haven't had much snow in this part of Scotland. Bitterly cold, frost and ice but brilliant sunshine. Not the normal Scottish winter weather which is usually dark and gloomy.

I think your normal Scottish winter has immigrated here, Jean, lthough we now have plenty of snow.

You can have a bit of ours - we have enough to last the rest of the winter, all of a sudden. I should walk to the other end of the block to see if our mail came through, and just to get out of the house.

This shot has more color than I can see outside anywhere. It looks like the folds of a ball gown were snowed upon somehow.

Thanks for the offer, Bob, but no thanks -- our temperature at the moment is 19F, but I see Minneapolis is at -4F an hour earlier in the day. We had enough of that rubbish last week.

J. R. Ackerley described Kew Gardens in winter as looking like a Japanese drawing in tea. I keep seeing the same thing every gloomy winter day.

I've been staying away from sugar which may be why this looks like some kind of ice cream concoction to me.

Rainy, foggy, grey, cold here...................

Great to see some vibrant colour. You've exposed perfectly for the snow! Nice job Sir!

Great colour. We'd have been happy with cooler weather these past few weeks.

You've had our sympathy, George. In the cold you can always put on more clothes, but in the heat there's only so many clothes you can take off.

Thanks, Dennis. It's some kind of waxed fabric, I think.

That's kind of gory at first glance, but clever nonetheless!
