You're quite right - the way the trees lean and their coatings of snow - of which we got another three or four inches yesterday. And the trees are coated with rime this morning - will try to post a picture of it.

I was really struck by the similarity at my first glance at your photo. I look forward to seeing any photo you can get. I'll keep my eyes peeled for similar views here -- Toronto is full of tree-filled ravines (there's one on the other side of the hill in the photo above).

HFF (again) John..............and slightly belated. You still have am amazing amount of snow around. We've just had a week of lovely sunshine - apparently it has been the warmest February since records began! Unfortunately, we're back to normal March weather now................

We've had more snow than in an entire average winter, Keith, but only about an inch more, and there shouldn't be much of winter left.
