Thanks, Jean. Unaccustomed angles are often striking. Sometimes informative, too.

A great perspective - did you have to stand on something?

I like the colours and the light. I also like the off-kilter symmetry - if you know what I mean!

A very pleasing image John!

Thanks, Keith. I didn't have to stand on anything -- the focal length was just right. I also have long arms, which helps.

A happy photo - well, there is no such thing as unhappy yellow! The blue strip is just right.

A heartwarming yellow. I understand the temperature in Toronto is -7F but FEELS LIKE -31, according to Weather Underground.
Take care and stay put.

I had to go out today, Sarah. I think it was 4F when I went out with some wind. Along the way I fell into a snowbank and was helped up by an attractive young woman, so it wasn't all bad. We are supposed to warm up on Saturday, so I've stocked up the bunker and plan to stay in till then.

I see you're on flash flood and high wind watches in SF, so good luck with those. A Canadian comedian, Ron James, says living in California is like living in the Old Testament.

We do have floods, fires, and earthquakes (and snow in the mountains), not too mention a lot of fog (in San Francisco.) But no polar vortexes, and as for high winds, they are not exactly hurricane strength. "Occasionally gusts over 40 mph" is mostly a danger to umbrellas.
Glad the young ladies in Toronto are kind enough to assist fallen gentlemen. Canadians in general appear so much more courteous than their Yankee neighbors.

In winter you have to take care of each other, Sarah. People have speculated that one of the reasons Canadians get along with each other is that they have a common enemy.

Wind is a problem in the Great Lakes, of course. Chicago isn't the only Windy City.

Keep warm but indoors; it is the best advise I heard many times in Finland when - 34 C were not unusual. Apart my fingers...all was almost business as usual...

And drink tea or some other hot drink other than coffee. I've been wearing a cheap pair of snowmobile gloves, which work pretty well. Insulated gloves would be better, of course.
