Lulworth Crumple

Lulworth Crumple
Lulworth Crumple is a minor fold structure within the major monocline of Alpine (Tertiary) age in the Lulworth Cove area. It is particularly well seen from Stair Hole, 2nd PiP where two men are walking above it. These formed during late Jurassic /early Cretaceous periods, 145 Million years ago in a warm, shallow sea environment.
