Seen in the village of Mogo, this is one of about 600 power poles in our local region to have been brought down by the current Australian bushfires. Needless to say, there have been widespread power outages and some areas have been without power since the New Year.

With the hope that things will improve with the current fire situation here, I'll say Happy Fence Friday, everyone.

Seems amazing that this pole was burnt only at the base. Almost as though someone had deliberately set fire to the base. So much for a spot fire. As others, say hope things are better and get back to normal asap. Regards Peter
