Barton Packhorse Bridge

Bradford-on-Avon ~ The old packhorse bridge across the River Avon at Barton Grange. The bridge was built in the 14th century, and provides access from the north shore of the Avon to Barton Country Park on the south shore. It has four Gothic arches but only three are visible here.

I was walking along the K&A canal and saw some almost hidden steps and they took me to a part of the River Avon that I had not seen before Peter, which was lovely. A nice sunny day today, but I'm indoors :-(
