...Hmmmm... now let me see ... Yes, I'm sure the path went straight across here the last time I passed this way! H. A. N. W. E. everyone!

Photo taken in August 2014. I previously walked this stretch of coast path in the summer of 2010 and the path did indeed go straight across from this point! A massive land slip had occurred in those few years. Porthtowan and St Agnes Beacon can be seen. First posted on ipernity in 2018. Better on large.

Oh yes, I thought it might be! Rosa has been trying to get me to watch it for very many years, Marie-claire. I had to confess to her that I haven't seen one minute of ANY poldark series and that includes the original one in the '70s!
The reason is that my mother had some of the books and I thought (aged 15 or so), 'Ah! these might be good!' as I already loved Cornwall. But they were SO BAD that I couldn't bring myself to have anything to do with Poldark and that included the TV series! Sorry!

Yes I would imagine it would be very dangerous to expect to see the walk still there, in these times of coastal erosion. It's a terrible situation when paths just disappear into nothing, the coastline is so pretty though isn't it,?
