Gotcha'.. thanks.. Rosalyn... I have had a pick up from ''Happy snapper'' who has offered some suggestions as to the problem... very good of him.
I am still able to map my pictures.. (but I don't know if anyone else can see the location)..by going to.. ''Organise'' .. then ''Locate'' .. then I click and drag the picture onto the map... it seems to work... but I still can't open locations on the maps - on any photo'.
Good luck with it... will keep in touch....

HFF and a good weekend for you Rosalyn, Just near the lamppost now stands a Glass Monogram / Hologram, though only a few centimetres thick at different angles it appears as a globe. There is no explanation of why it is there and I assume it has something to do with the statue of Capt. George Vancouver which stands just out of shot of this walkway.

I think it is a wonderfully considered composition, especially the fence leading up to the streetlamp, (which you have put exactly on 'rule of thirds' position....)

That's interesting Pam. I used to have a pen-pal from KL but we lost touch when she married a man in the air force. I asked about her address at the tourist information centre but they said Brewery Buildings had been gone a long time, so I guess I will never find out how she is now. We met when on holiday in Sussex in 1965 and wrote to each other for 5 years.
