1765 Cidaria fulvata (Barred Yellow)
Geometridae, Larentiinae - Wingspan: 24-28mm.

A pretty little "Carpet" which although listed as Common throughout the UK, only occurs sparsely from central to east Cornwall. Mainly seen in or near woodland, an unmistakable species.

A single generation species with a narrow flight time, it can occasionally be seen between June and July.
