Hallo und guten Morgen Gudrun.
Ein tolles Pano vom Gornergrat Gletscher zeigst Du uns da.
Leider sind auch seine Prognosen sehr schlecht, wenn es so weitergeht mit dem Klimawandel - und damit längerfristig auch mit unseren Wasserreserven...

Herzlichen Dank, Udo! Ja, es ist ein Trauerspiel, wenn man sieht, wie groß der Gletscher mal war. Im 19. Jh hatten sie Angst, dass er Zermatt verschluckt... Mit den Wasserreserven wird es das Andenhochland noch lange vor uns treffen, da ist die Situation heute schon extrem prekär.

I'm afraid it's typical for most glaciers worldwide. It will play havoc with the water supply in mountain areas and with coastal regions....Hope Mar al Lago gets inundated soon;)

Ja, das ist wohl die Kehrseite der Hitze bei uns! Bei uns sterben in großem Ausmass Nadelbäume und Buchen und Eichen ab. Man redet davon, dass man sie durch Arten aus dem Mittelmeerraum ersetzen muss- Libanonzedern statt Fichten etc...

Thanks very much, Keith! Obviously I managed to turn around smoothly enough when taking my 13 photos as I didn't have to correct anything after putting them through MS ICE;-)
It did pay to take an early train up to get the best of the blue sky.

Thank you so much, Rosa! You only need enough overlap amd consistent exposure for a panorama, the rest was done by the software;-) Naming the mountains was easy, you get leaflets up there and even on the train the tables show the panorama with names:-)
