Waiting for the first snowy day

I held on to this photo, knowing that sooner or later, I would need it to add bright colour to my photostream and to give cheer to all those who are becoming buried by falling snow : ) It was taken on 10 September 2013 at Reader Rock Garden. Our snow, first of the season in Calgary, began last night or very early this morning. Looked so cold and miserable out there all day long, so I stayed home with the central heating and coffee : ) If it happens to freeze overnight, it will be one big, treacherous mess tomorrow morning!
