If only snowy days could be warm

Sometimes, it's so cold when friends and I go out on birding walks, especially first thing in the morning. By noon, it has usually warmed up a few degrees and that sun can feel really good. Taken on 29 October 2013, between Bebo Grove and Shannon Terrace in Fish Creek Park - I think Bebo Grove..

Anne, we have no snow way up north here. It looks like the brunt of it is from Edmonton south. You can have it all.

Holy C-R-A-P Anne ... that is a lot of snow at this time of year ... they say this happens when H-E-L-L freezes over ... LOL

Thanks, Art! A fun link! Years ago, I used to reckon we tended to get our first snowfall around 17 October, so it's really not early - it's just earlier than we want!
