Fading Glory, Still Beautiful

This morning I took a look at the red poppy that was so lovely yesterday morning, and yet had shriveled up by day's end in the awful heat. I wanted to share this image with you because, even though this flower is no longer fresh and brilliant, it is still beautiful to behold! We must always remember that a flower's beauty continues from bud through seed, and every stage can be stunning if the light is just right! :)
