The pond looks good in all seasons! The old Mercedes is also nice, not as ugly as many modern cars:-)

Lovely shot of the Comfrey flowers............I haven't seen any of those for ages.

I wouldn't mind that Merc..............a wonderful old motor..........not sure about the colour though!

I expect many would love to own the Merc Keith. I do wonder when that colour was in vogue!!

Hi Rosa,

Of course a nice picture of the village pond, complete with reflections, on a sunny day.
The thing that made we stop and think was the white pick-up. The odd angle breaks up the otherwise neat horizontal lines, and wakes up the brain! It would have been so easy to photoshop out, but you didn't!

I don't generally photoshop anything out. After all, it is a picture of our times. Being the highest village in Dorset, there are a lot of these vehicles. All the roads out of it are very steep, and have you ever heard of Zig-Zag Hill? That's a great way down to Shaftesbury ;-))

Nice set of shots Rosalyn, With the comfrey I used to see masses of this when we had a dog but did not know what it was. I don't recall ever seeing a Merc this colour either, I had the pleasure of driving my boss from Liverpool to London in one of these while he slept off a good day at the races. (He owned lots of pubs and a race horse).

I don't have a dog at the moment and we do see so much when on dog walks! We did have my daughter's dog with us this time though. The colour of the Merc is very unusual. You are lucky to have driven one. I expect we would find a big difference in the modern ones now!

There should be ducks on the village duck pond !!!! it's tidier than Groby Pool, you can make some plant food with the comfrey . A few good downpours today

There were ducks Peter, but a family was feeding them. I'll try and get some pic's when they have their ducklings! Comfrey is good for so many things. A good natural ingredient.

There are plenty of comfrey here. I understand the leaves are a good source of protein, but I have never eaten any.

Oh what a lovely place!!! How fabulous it would be to wander around this gorgeous property and take pictures with you, Rosalyn! :) I love the orange car with the wonderful shadows. I love the comfrey with its stunning tiny blossoms. And the pond, which begs a series of macros to reveal its tiny treasures. WONDERFUL! :) Thank you for the show!
