Breeding season almost done now and my O my don't they all look worn out and bedraggled, the little one here still needs some parental guidance though.
We get the same problem with Starlings but I always think they are birds as well and take food wherever they can get it.

They certainly do Maurice. I couldn't see his parent at first so was a little worried, but soon appeared on the fence. I agree with you and try to feed them all but they do take the mickey sometimes. The rook is out there now! :)

Jackdaws are a pain on all feeders Rosa, lovely capture of a worn out looking tit but they all appear to be in this condition at the moment

I have had a lot of jackdaws and a rook out there today eating the last of fat balls.
The little birds are working so hard at the moment. Thanks for your great comments.

You did well to capture this shot, Rosa. Small passerine birds are very difficult to photographs, as they are very fast and flighty. Cheers, Joe
