Dundas Street West, Toronto
Dundas rhymes with spun glass, not with stunned us.

Even when they are not looking at screen they are looking down, they body language saying "don't talk to me/don't talk to me."
Meanwhile, the colors/shapes do the talking.

Maybe people are discouraged because they're tired of waiting fr spring. A tree across the street from me is starting to flower, so maybe soon people will be perkier.

All the orange stripes (okay, the one on the side of the bus may be red) - and the closest set is looking down like Sarah notes. I hope your flowering tree helps!

I hadn't noticed that, Bob. Thanks. The flowering tree will help me, I know. How's your spring going?

Slowly, John. We have no flowers out yet, but further in town where it's more sheltered there are daffodils and forsythia blossoming. After a few chilly days now, maybe it will get warmer again and we will have a few days of spring before summer.

We have similarly short springs. The joys of the continental climate. Memorial Day and Victoria Day are coming soon to start summer officially.

On the other hand it's nice watching the leaves and flowers arrive like an explosion.

Dundas Street makes me feel right at home. There's one in Glasgow and in many other Scottish towns. Spring may not have come to this one yet but it's got sunshine and plenty of colour.

I presume all those streets are named for the first Viscount Melville, Jean. He was Secretary of State for the Home Office when this street was built, anyway. He was also a friend of the lieutenant-governor's.

Our Dundas St. is quite a street, by the way -- 200 km long. It was intended to connect Toronto to the proposed new provincial capital to the southwest, but the capital never got moved.

Il est possible de donner plusieurs sens à cette photo. Il n'en reste pas moins vrai que sa composition est indiscutable dans sa relation graphique et colorée, habitée par des personnages " non concernés " ....

Thank you very much, Robert. And you got me to think about why those people are so uninvolved.

I knew this was a John Fitzgerald before I even saw your name. That's a good thing, by the way!
