Yes, PicMonkey is now disabled because the Adobe Flash support will end by the end of this year. It is strongly recommended to uninstall it from the computer as well.

Sami does having PicMonkey disabled effect the "replace" image function or was that not supported by PicMonkey? thanks :)

I don't have this function on my computer so that's no problem, but am wondering if it will be replaced with another Editing site here on IP ?

I use that Function Chris, I wanted to bring my photo forward to the front page, others seem to have & I don't know how ? !!!!

'ACTIONS menu > Replace' will remain, and starts working again, as soon as we get the upload issue fixed.

And the *Replace' option actually will replace PicMonkey ;-) So, if you find some image of your's as not perfect, make a new version, and use that 'Replace'.

But as said, it will not work at the moment. We have to get that upload thing fixed first.

Take a second look, Marj. On 'ACTIONS' menu you should have option 'Replace'. It will and should work as soon as we get the upload error fixed. It is very useful in case you are not happy with the current image, that already has some faves and and comments. You can then make a better version on your computer (or phone editor), and replace the old version with new.

What comes to online editors integrated with ipernity, the answer is no. See here:

Again, 'Replace' remains, and stays on the 'ACTIONS' menu. It will work again when the upload error gets fixed, hopefully.

Hi Sami...
When we had Picmonkey once you had done editing the choice was replace or copy.
If you clicked copy that would put your picture at the front of your images for all to see, otherwise it would stay where it was, or it could be as mine is 5 pages down the line.
If I was to use as you say replace in Actions, that wouldn't work because it is not a new photo to replace. But as I or anyone else can't upload it's still stands the same at the moment

But some of my contacts have revived an old photo back to the front of their images so we can see in News. How do they do it ?
Hope I have explained clearly what I mean. I am out for the day so will catch you later.

As said on my previous comment, 'Replace' and changing the 'Posted' date are different things.

Sorry, I did not notice your "PS" before I posted my reply. If you don't want to change the 'Posted' date, then there are no other ways to make the image appear as "new".
