Art Deco petrol station.
Built in 1927 to the design of architect Casto Fernández Shaw. Dismantled in 1977 and pleasingly rebuilt to the exact original design 20 years later. The hotel behind is an '80s construction. I think the two architectural styles fit together pretty well.

Andy Rodker club has replied to JeanWhen I think of art deco, my mind goes to Miami, Florida ... some fascinating buildings. Went there with a group of gal-pals years ago and we just toured Miami going into hotel after hotel, etc just admiring the imagination !
We always left before management asked us any questions.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Peggy C club... ... I can't keep up with your editing!!!!!! :o)
But I have to laugh as I do it all the time. 2 minutes after and I think; 'Oh! I wish i'd said that instead ... so I go back and edit. ... and then 2 minutes later I re-edit and then edit some more!!!
etc.......

Andy Rodker club has replied to Ronald Losure clubI don't take public transport at the moment and motion myself in the traditional bipedal manner. I have no choice in the matter!
