Another HFF. Close to the Edge! (Another for Pam who was 'close to the edge' herself but thankfully pulled back from the brink!)

Coastal Erosion! The footpath has been moved back. When I first knew this stretch of the South West Peninsula Coast Path, it was more or less to my left! Google Maps still have it jauntily marching off into oblivion!!

Yes the South West coastal path isn't far from my home. My neighbours have walked the whole way over the last couple of years. I'm immobile so that's out for me - but it doesn't mean I've forgotten how amazing these cliffs are

Well, I've walked much of the Cornish section but that was on and off over 45 years! (and hardly ever with a camera!). Now I could only do very short sections whereas only 3 years ago I could happily do 20 miles a day. Oh well! It's also put paid to my weekly mountain trips here in Central Spain, sadly.

A lovely shot Andy and it looks as if you must have been standing quite close to the edge too!! I enjoy seeing your coastline images but I must admit I get nervous standing near the edge of cliffs myself. I have been known to walk away when my husband takes risks as I panic. It is nice to be able to enjoy the views here without the worry!! Belated HFF wishes and have a good week ahead..

Thank you Carol!
I don't think I take risks but it's all relative. My girlfriend gets the screaming heeby-jeebies (is that the correct spelling I wonder?) with me sometimes!

You can still remember the walks though Andy can't you? It sounds as if you live in a beautiful part of Spain. My daughter lives in Turkey and it's gorgeous there.
