I don't think I've posted this exact same shot before. Anyway a favourite place but not one I'd want to meet from the sea in rough weather!

The water colour gradation seen in mid distance derives from a rock slip the previous year and the mud and earth dislodged was still discolouring the water. Have a look at this.

This one was predicted and fenced off long before it actually went. But when the cracks in the cliff top got wider, the geology professor from Exeter University (from memory), thought he might have a very small chance of capturing something and was here with a few students and only his mobile phone video, which he had never used before ...
... and got lucky (It could equally gave happened at night)!!

A dramatic coastline. Beautiful colours in the sunshine. There are quite a few Devil's Punchbowl's around but the best one is a single malt whiskey produced by an Arran distillery. The Devil's Mouth might appreciate it.
