This bridge is under continual strain because of the flow of the river and the erosion of the banks due to alternate bouts of flooding and drought conditions, George. The framework is buckling in places, but repairs are being carried out on a fairly regular basis.

We won't let Ipernity fade away. I think one reason of today being slower is the problem that only credit cards are accepted. Many Germans have just bank cards/debit cards which is sufficient for travel and transactions in Central Europe where cash still rules.

PayPal is being worked on as an alternative!

The problem with PayPal is that the amount will be charged immediately whereas credit cards will be charged only after a successful campaign

Credit cards aren't the only problem. Some people are having problems with post codes (zip codes) not being accepted!

How is the PayPal situation going now?

I had the same problem, enter the correct country first!

Indiegogo resp. Generosity does not offer PAyPal for this kind of crowdfunding. It would be a shame if we miss contributions, because people have no means to do so!

Cross that bridge all Ipernians!

The sepia style works well with the bridge, it was an amazing venture to build it it iron, there must have been many who expected it to collapse
