Such rich colours. Rosa. Those double red tulips are top heavy but spectacular.

A flower not really suited to being so heavy, but it happens every year and I quite like it ;-))

Beautiful tulips..........especially the red ones! I love the first PiP.........it looks as if the tulips are gently laying themself down for a rest...........and they still look lovely against the soil.

The blackbird is a beauty! They're the same in my garden...............never turn down a free meal.

Thanks for your kind comments Keith. The red ones last longer than the others, but they always end up drooping! Blackbirds are lovely aren't they! This one will step inside the door sometimes, if his breakfast is late.

Mucho viento supongo, aunque hay una pared a sus espaldas. Fuerte y atractivo color rojo.
Al mirlo le hiciste un buen disparo antes de que volara. Ese tiene un canto dulce.

They fall to the ground every year Jose Manuel. Their heads are too heavy! I guess that is why you don't see them in public gardens very often. The blackbird has a beautiful song, but this one does not perform very often, in spite of all the food he gets! ;-)

The tulips are a bit top heavy but they look grogeous on the ground! I always find tulips more interesting when they aren't completely straight and perfect;-)

Yes they are very top heavy and end up on the ground every year Gudrun. They seem to flower for longer than the single tulips though.

At first I thought of a red carnation !;-)
But of course it’s a splendid double tulip of a marvellous red,!

A great series from your garden Rosa. The tulips look great even on the ground, such a vibrant red! You gotta love Blackbirds, they are so smart. We had one a few years ago that perched on the gutter above the shed door waiting for me to refill the feeders and bird table. He actually leaned over to look inside the shed if I was taking too long for his liking!
