A really good ornate gate Rosalyn, not the sort you would find in the local garden centre. It's a shame we have lost the art of individualising a building.

I love the juxtaposition of curves and straight lines, Rosa. I love also the colour contrast between the green gate, and the browns and oranges of the roof, brickwork and stonework. Cheers, Joe

Very nicely composed. I love the colour of the gate - matches the greenery in the garden and on the wall. The colours in the brickwork and the tiling are gorgeous. I'm guessing that most of these houses will be listed Rosa?

I would think all the houses around the Close are Grade I and II listed Keith. I certainly hope so anyway. Many thanks for your kind comments as always.

I like this typical style of houses with its chimneys. The view across the square reminds me to the place I visited in 1989, althoug it is a quite smaller town:
