If I said this reminds me of a Patrick Heron print for scarves and shawls, you may or may not know what I'm talking about, but it's excellent!

Thank you very much, Andy. I didn't know about Patrick Heron but have now broadened my knowledge, so thanks for introducing him to me. The photo suggest he got some of his ideas on Tweedsmuir Ave. in Toronto.

Not your usual bailiwick eh? Very attractive colors, and I could see it as a scarf, or even a 1970's necktie that I would have worn.

I probably wouldn't have worn it but appreciated it from afar!

Andy had much the same thought\, Bob. This was taken long ago. Generally I avoid foliage., although I suppose clody days are good days to photograph it.

An approach I would probably take, too, Andy.

This is really beautiful John.............I love the water droplets and the range of natural shapes and textures. I especially like the autumnal colour palette.

It's because you rarely do foliage (or nature shots in general) that I appreciate this even more. Also because it's green, one of my favorite colors. Also because of it's look of freshness, which feels good to my eyes on this smoky Northern California day.

John FitzGerald club has replied to Sarah P. club
All my shots are of nature, Sarah. If a beehive is nature then so is an office building (we even call the people who work there drones). Foliage I rarely photograph because photographing it requires care. I don't like taking care. Got lucky here, though.

A Canadi8an comedian, Ron James, says that living in California is like living in the Old Testament. So all the best.
