And that's why you go on holiday. Beats living on a schedule.

English-Canadians are good at living in the moment, too. We're the only people on the continent without a national myth. We just hang out.

The lady in the striped top seems to be signalling the letter U in semaphore. The letter U in maritime parlance also means "You are standing into danger", so she can obviously see something behind them which may harm them..!! They're too absorbed in taking photos on their phones to notice.

...............or am I reading too much into it??? :-)))

Maybe she was signalling me, Keith!!! And she's smiling about it!!!!! Well, there were chip wagons behind me, and they're a threat to your health, I guess.

Looks like Frankfurt ! :-)) ! Well seen, John !

Thanks, Ulrich. Toronto has this unfortunate habit of trying to be like other places, although I haven't heard Frankfurt held up as a model yet. However, I think a Frankfurter sign here would be more interesting than the Toronto sign -- I mean, people already know they're in Toronto.

Unusual group of people.
They seem to have fun, let's believe in it on this clean and orderly background.

Canadians are known for being orderly, José, except when we're playing hockey.

Thanks, Rainer. And the old city hall, which is a major work of nineteenth-century architecture, is just across the street.

If you don't have a team of photographers, it's selfie time. :-)

That interested me, too. George. I don't know why the one woman had an entourage.
