2 St, Clair Ave. W., Toronto. This view is no longer -- since this picture was taken the canopy has been removed. I suppose that lowered the insurance rates by lowering the probability of falling ice.

This was on Flickr once, but never here, I don't think.

Almost dizzying. I think because it takes a while to decide where one is when one is looking up, the mirroring is so perfect. It makes the building one-dimensional - for the Flatanders maybe?

Photographed from other points of view, Bob, it's an attractive example of International Style. Up close the reflections transform it, though. Its lower floors are currently being revamped (although not this entrance) so I'm waiting to see what it looks like afterward.

I was by this building today, Bob, and discovered that this view is in fact gone -- the canopy has been removed. A mistake, I think, although I suppose they get a break on their insurance by lowering the probability of injuries from falling ice.

It's compulsive. But like chocolates, you mustn't over indulge or you'll be ill. I'm still dizzy from overdoing it.

Moderation is a fine thing, TLC, but go0ing to extremes has its charms occasionally. My extremes are usually the other way, though -- don't smoke, drink, gamble, hang on to the back of streetcars.

Superb show of composition not cold but clear but purposeful and only poetic in these clouds and blue sky.

Indeed it is, Gerard. It's a shame I can't find the name of the architect anywhere.
