Silent Working Harbour (Pip)

Pictured at Crail Harbour, Fife on a misty, murky day. A working harbour therefore the scene is a little messy but I liked the colours and the moody atmosphere. It might look a silent, peaceful scene but outside the harbour walls the mist was thicker and the waves were really crashing into shore.

Here in the harbour the mist seemed to dampen the sounds

Thank you very much Jocelyne. Originally built with the help of the Dutch, a second part to the harbour was added in the 19th century. I particularly like the way the harbour walls are formed and the red stonework. Above the harbour there are cobbled streets and in the mist you feel as if you have stepped back in time. I am pleased you like it

I also loved that above the harbour there are cobbled streets and plenty of other interesting details. It is supposedly one of the most attractive harbours in the East Neuk
