Thank you so much, Rosa! I admit to using sports mode;-) The herons have invaded the zoo, they even have a big nesting colony in an avenue of trees and they seem to know all the feeding times;-)

Tausend Dank, Tanja! Ich hatte mich gewundert, dass die Pelikane so aktiv waren, die hocken nurmalerweise nur faul rum... Dann kam die Dame mit dem Eimer Fisch und die Reiher (und Kormorane) hinterher;-)
Wilhelma ist klasse, nur momentan viel Baustelle....

Thank you so much, Amelia! The herons have established a large breeding colony in some trees in our zoo and aren't shy at all. They seem to know the feeding times and turn up promptly;-) As the river is also near they are living in paradise....
