Thanks a lot, Amelia! There are several subframes built into the rotundawhich makes it a lot of fun to take photos. Oh yes, "Big Jim" made quite a splash in Stuttgart- the green rubber flooring was the bone of contention for many years;-)

Dank dir, Chrissy! Die Architektur nimmt sich nicht so ganz bierernst, das ist das Schöne dran. Kräne hat's in Stuttgart ohne Ende, ich könnte jetzt nicht mal sagen, wo genau der hingehört.

Großen Dank, Ulrich! Die Staatsgalerie ist ein ganz tolles Fotomotiv, auch weil man auf einem öffentlichen Weg durch den Skulpturenhof laufen kann. Das Blau war von kurzer Dauer, ich hatte Glück:-)

Schönen Dank, Uwe! Das war einer der wenigen schönen Momente am Freitag, seiher war's nichts mehr mit Sonne. Der Ausschnitt ist nach oben fotografiert und ich habe etwas korrigiert, aber alles ging nicht.

Herzlichen Dank, Lutz! Ich komme auch nicht mehr so oft in die Gegend wie früher, da ging mein täglicher Weg durch die Rotunde. Aber da, wo ich zu Studizeiten gewohnt habe, sind jetzt die Tunnelbohrer drunter zu Gange, da bin ich ganz froh, weg zu sein...;-)

A magnificent shot, Gudrun! I like that yellowish stone - whatever it is - and it is gorgeous with the blue and the crane.

Thank you so much, Diane! The stone is local travertine, the smaller bands are sandstone. The travertine is a limestone of calcuim carbonate and limonite (which gives the yellowish colour).
