Yours is by far the more magnificent, spectacular and is simply 'grand' in the best English sense of the word, Christa!
But ours is more intimate, almost cosy up close and it always has a friendly, welcoming air!
Needless to say I'm extremely fond of both!

I couldn't believe that a Mont St Michel other than the one in Normandy existed elsewhere, especially in Cornwall! :) This site is indeed more intimate and seems to have very specific charms.
The photo, its light and clouds give it a mysterious and peaceful aura, creating an atmosphere that I really like!

The edit we all have day we cant understand later, I like it almost a old Sepia photo look, HFF you enjoy the weekend coming.

OK Andy. Mais personnellement je n'ai vu le mont que des rives Françaises. La silhouette est différente vue des Cornouailles. (Où hélas je n'ai jamais été) En regardant à nouveau ta photo, les nuages ont un relief impressionnant

Andy, j'ai fais une erreur et tu viens de m'apprendre quelque chose. Ta photo représente effectivement St Michael Mount qui se trouve à l'extrême sud des Cornouailles. (je ne connaissais pas ce lieu) J'ai confondu avec le mont St Michel en Normandie. Effectivement il y a une ressemblance mais ce n'est pas pareil.. En regardant à nouveau ta photo je me disais "mais enfin, ce n'est pas le Mont ST Michel ? Je comprends mieux.
