Still standing!
An old friend. I knew my favourite picnic table would still be there (I haven't passed this way in 4 years), but nonetheless I said a relieved and cheery hello to it as I passed by!
I managed to get to the mountains today. The first time in almost a year! Fortunately my feet stood up to it. The downside is that I cannot download my photos from my new mobile phone more than one at a time and until I get this fixed, it will take more time than I currently have to download the 150 I took today. Pressure of work means that I will upload my usual 3 photos a day but I may not be able to do any more than that on ipernity for the time being. I promise I will get to view your photos eventually. It may be days, it may be weeks, I cannot tell. I am far from retired. I need to keep slogging away and sometimes, especially at this time of year (exams) the pressure mounts!
I think I took some beauties but I won't be showing them all that quickly!

So glad you got away to the mountains.
Retired.. dont think for one second you will have more time.. you wont... it gets busier still !
Andy Rodker club has replied to Pam J clubUnderstandable that we need to wait.
Smart phones etc can oftn be used for verey good captures but maybe a bit too smart, a song comes to mine. -
'I am too sexy for my shirt' LOL
Andy Rodker club has replied to Stormlizard clubI intend to contribute as before (when possible). It's the other stuff; viewing members contributions, thanking the kind comments and yellow stars, etc., that I find most time-consuming and that is what will inevitably suffer. I will catch up eventually, like after I've been away for a couple of weeks (although that was on Pano - hasn't happened on ipernity so far!).
Super shot :-)
Andy Rodker club has replied to Rosalyn Hilborne clubThis is a cracking shot mate...........as always. Keep 'em coming.
I've been retired since last October............and I'm busier than ever. I have no idea how I used to find the time to go to work, so don't expect to slow down anytime soon :-)) On the plus side there is very little pressure (unless you put pressure on yourself), so life is much more enjoyable.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubI think you misunderstood my comment! I will never be able to retire! I need to work till I drop!
Fortunately, I am self-employed as an English teacher so can largely control my own retirement date, if any. Thank God I look at least 15 years younger than my true age! :o)
