Lane on Carn Marth, Cornwall.

Lane on Carn Marth, Cornwall.
Granite wall invisible under the vegetation!
No need to ask which way the wind blows!

Roger (Grisly), William Sutherland, Gudrun, cammino and 8 other people have particularly liked this photo

Well, for one thing. Laura, there are 1,000s and 1,000s of miles of these and they are only made of granite! Secondly, in some sections there are enough gaps in the vegetation to see the wall beneath and thirdly, I do sometimes get so frustrated at not being able to see over the top (either to see the view or see if there are any photo opportunities) that I climb atop the walls and so obtain a close and personal intimacy with them!

I love these typical Cornish lanes with the trees bending with the weather!!

A terrific image Andy.............you have an eye for a great composition, this is no exception. Shame the wall is completely covered up, it would have made a nice contrast to the vegetation.
