Kerfuffle

Kerfuffle
Today's Sunday Challenge: Something related to a moment of laughter in our past.
There's not much to laugh about at the present time, but I find that I laugh almost every day each time I have to remove my mask. It gets tangled up in my hearing aids, and spectacles, and the whole kerfuffle reduces me to tears of laughter almost every time. I get some funny looks too, but most folks seem to be too polite to join me in laughter.

TSC kerfuffle 2

oui je comprends pour les lunettes ! souvent mes verres de lunettes sont épaissis par la buée de ma respiration ; je ressemble alors à un personnage inquiétant !

Oh Amelia, Charlie and I can relate to this so well. The hearing aides, glasses and mask are always creating a nuisance that's for sure. I shall l have to follow your example and just laugh about it instead of getting annoyed. (especially when I add earrings into the picture) lol. Thanks for sharing your lovely smile. :)

Stay Well

That's worth laughing about. The masks get tangled in everything and half the time they ride up so you can't even see well. Stay healthy.

AT LEAST I WEAR VARIFOCALS PAM. ANOTHER PAIR OF GLASSES COULD CHANGE MY TEARS OF LAUGHTER TO TEARS OF FRUSTRATION. ;-)))))

I love your very colourful mask. It puts my standard blue one quite in the shade. The only fankle I get into with my mask is that my reading glasses steam up and I can't see my Kindle. LOL. All the best, Joe

Ah - the fankle. We sometimes get into a fankle doing Scottish Country dances.

Apart from the hearing aid, I have the same trouble Amelia! I have now learnt to take my glasses off before removing the mask, as I have almost knocked them off too many times!
Love the pictures. I would join you in laughing :-))

Good to hear that so many other spectacle wearers get steamed up and tangled up (thankfully I don't also have hearing aids). Great photos and it's nice to find a smile in the current situation, Amelia.

Love the mask and the smile. I too get fankled with my glasses and have had to give up wearing drop earrings so can sympathise with the hearing aids. One of my friends has the same problem as you. Better to be laughing than getting ratty and I've used it as an excuse to buy some stud earrings.

A brilliant image Amelia..................and I thought I was the only one having problems with this!

I also wear glasses and hearing aids and I've lost count of the times I've pulled out the hearing aids whilst trying to get the mask off. My wife thinks it's hilarious..!!

At least I don't have long hair to contend with as well!

I now take my hearing aids out - put the mask on - put the hearing aids back in and then follow the same routine for taking the mask off. Kerfuffle sums it up nicely!

Thanks for sharing :-))

It's amazing just how many folks are having difficulty with face coverings. I have now invested in a face gaiter which may solve my problems but won't be such fun. :-))))

If you can't laugh at yourself what can you laugh at! Given all the doom and gloom at present, laughter is definitely the best medicine Amelia.

They can be a problem, that's for sure! My solution is to stay at home more where I don't have to wear it. Or when I go out to take pictures, go where there's no people.
