The subject is garbage or waste.
Is there photographic beauty in it?
I do not mean a garbage truck or a bin only, waste should be an essential part of the photo.

I decided to have a look round the garden to see what was there. And here's what I found:
Broken bits of pottery, old plant labels, broken clothes pegs, a plastic plant tie, an elastic band, a bottle top, shredded paper that must have blown in, a piece of expanded polystyrene, some silver paper, a piece of bubble plastic and two old bottles (which I shall keep). A veritable mountain of rubbish. ;-)

I only found one piece of street rubbish, and one little treasure which are in the notes.

Thanks to the TSC for a tidier garden and a tidier village!

Thank you. Diderik. The bottles and pieces of old pottery will go back in the garden. The other bits of rubbish will be recycled or consigned to a bin for landfill.

You found some very pretty rubbish, beautifully presented! Your garden and village must be extraordinarily clean!

We do have a very tidy village, Gudrun. Folks pick up street rubbish and either put it on their own recycling bins or in the local rubbish bin by the bus stop. A very public spirited lot! ;-)
The bits of pottery and the the bottles are now back in the garden, and the rest of the rubbish has been discarded into the recycling bins or the landfill bin..

It wasn't until I had a really good look that I discovered there was so much undesirable little bits and pieces lying around, Janano.

thank you, Stoker. Our house is about 150 years old, and of course there have been some interesting finds in the garden, especially when we added an extension.

GIMP is free and available also for Windows PCs. So, no need to use Linux OS.

But since you are Ipernity Club member, do give a try for PicMonkey (accessible via menu on right side of your images). Although, PicMonkey can be used also by everyone, with less features though.

But what comes to this picture, my only suggestion is to turn it either 90 degrees right or left ;-) Could make an interesting twist =D

Very interesting to find so much in your garden. I normally pick up a couple of empty cans in the summer, but that's all.

Amelia club has replied to H C
It's an old garden, HC, and so the likelihood of finding interesting things in it is great. We rarely have tin cans thrown in over the wall, but it has been know for folks to leave glasses from the local pub on it. ;-)

That's quite a collection, Amelia. Seems like the older the garbage gets the more it becomes treasure instead of junk. The plastic items will probably never be treasure, though.

Old bottles which are complete and clean can fetch a few £s Ron, but i have yet to come across a good specimen unfortunately, so am unlikely ever to be rich! :-)

You found some interesting things ... those little pieces of crockery or tiles (?) are really nice. Once or twice when we were clearing our garden we would find a piece of a horseshoe or some old rusty nails. The house we lived in when we were in Michigan, was the last house in the area to house horses many years ago. :)
Amelia club has replied to Clickity Click
Yes it's bits of old crockery, and I've put them back into the garden where they belong Chris. Our youngest daughter has a house which was built on a blacksmith's yard. Haven't found any horse shoes yet, but the ground is very difficult to dig - lots of rusty old iron chunks there.
