The Sunday Challenge:
What if each one of us chooses a Christmas card with the wishes texts written in our own language, and the card being photographed in a place that best represent Christmas spirit for the photographer?

My Photoshop skills are really useless, so I had to wait until it got dark and we were having our evening meal with a glass of wine before I had the chance to get down to it. This card is one of this year's which we have received - the only one with clear writing on it. Our Christmas tree isn't up yet, but we fetched our decorations box down from the loft and I just used a couple of baubles, a little mirror heart and added a candle.

I found the challenge quite 'challenging'. We're not ready for Christmas yet, the tree outside in a bucket of water, and the decorations are still in the loft. But we did get the bauble down. I ma delighted that you liked my interpretation, :-))

Our Christmas tree is still standing in a bucket of water outside the back door, Jean, The written cards are cluttering up the dining room table, the presents are cluttering up the spare bedroom and we're in a lovely state of chaos. Time to get going! ;-)

You don't need photoshop skills- you made a perfect festive still life!
I also found the challenge challenging because I'm not into Christmas cards with greetings texts and in Germany cards aren't sent so early- they are supposed to arrive just in time for Christmas.Trees are only bought a few days before and then stay up until 6th January. So you are really early to already have a tree;-)

I have bought our tree early because I'm very fussy about the shape and height, Gudrun, and the better ones get snapped up quickly. Usually the Christmas tree is put inside and decorated on my birthday, 6 days before Christmas, and like you, it is left until twelfth night. It's a magical time - I love it.

You got it very nice, Amelia. In Italy it's traditional to set the Christmas tree about the 8th of December, a festive day, at last in the last years. It was not so when I was a child. I made it the day before,the 7th, but is not a real tree, I use it already a long time. And yes, until the 6th of January as well. I wish you the best Christmas time. Hugs,Dany

if I brought our tree too early into our home, I'd be fed up with by the 6th January, Dany, and there would be lots of pine needles on the floor. As it is, I love decorating the tree with lots of lights and glass baubles, many of which I've had for many years.
