Nice use of the pier ends to add interest. I always feel a bit sorry for these two bridges, just as important as the two over the Firth of Forth, but no glamour.

Many thanks for your compliment, Doug. I have been across both these bridges many times. Born in Dundee and living in St.Andrews they p[provided the necessary means for family visits. We also frequently used the ferry from Newport - long since gone. The bridges may not be glamorous, but they are close to my heart. ;-)
