The "Big Merino"
With the "Big Banana" (at Coffs Harbour) the "Big Merino" in Goulburn is probably one of Australia's best known "Big" tourist landmarks. You can read more about it here. I was fortunate that these people decided to pose just when I had the camera ready!

Last time I saw this it was a petrol station at the southern end of Goulburn. It appears to have wandered off to somewhere else.
That was several decades ago...

Wünsche noch einen schönen Nachmittag, liebe Grüße Güni :))
A lovely picture as specially with the family enjoying themselves.
I like this picture very much!
It is a very different kind of sculpture!
Imagine finding that in a field!
Best Wishes, and stay safe!!
Peter
At 15.2 m (50 ft) tall, this statue is a true giant and, in my opinion, indicative of the importance of Merino sheep breeding in Australia.
