Waiting at the airport

Waiting at the airport
In the passenger terminal at Canberra Airport (see also PiP). I can only presume that these statues must have been fully dressed when they arrived, but that they disrobed after an airconditioning failure while they have waited for their flight!

Great artists since the Renaissance even earlier were depicting females in their artistic fervor. Even Will Durant has written in his book “Fallen Leaves” that he liked such images and also wrote that his sense was aesthetic, but he put a disclaimer to his concept too. He wrote that book in his lifetime, and stuffed it in a trunk – found 32 years after his death and published in 2014.
