Full lunar eclipse
Taken at the peak of the lunar eclipse - we had about 15 minutes of totality. The background stars are at the head of the Scorpio constellation. I should note that, although the eclipsed moon and colour can be seen with the naked eye, this has been brightened quite a bit. Other images in PiPs.

When we last had a lunar eclipse I messed up big time - I forgot the set the camera beforehand and left the stabilizer on, with disastrous results;-)
