A smashing series from the Mill Pond Rosa.............the light and colours are lovely! I especially like the colour and textures in the Dorset stone used for the building and the bridge - it's such an attractive material.

Great reflections too.................and I really like the large willow tree drooping over the bridge!

A super purple mini too...........I'd love that!

It always amazes me how the light changes when taking photos from a slightly different angle! Long live the willow tree :) I used to have a mini car but mine was not such a nice colour....it was called gold, otherwise known as brown!!!

Stunning main picture Roselyn, I must admit I am bemused by what appears to be a fence perched on top of an outbuilding or maybe part of an old wall, You can see it better in the reflections in the water.

I have had a close look at the fence and still cannot make out why it is there. I wonder if it is part of an old wall that is now listed. I will investigate when I am there next.

An early car of mine, a cortina, had the number plate TUV 545G

I'm impressed that you remembered an old car number Andy! It's all I can manage to remember the one I have now! So many car park meters you have to put your registration in now!

I think you'll find many of us who can remember their early cars and number plates, Rosa but have no idea about recent ones!!

I remember one that my father had in the 50's....COW but not the numbers. People used to laugh at the green cow on four wheels ;-))
