Never seen anything like this before Rosalyn, Is it coastal erosion where the roots have been exposed by the tides? The little lad seems absorbed in what he is doing.

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that Maurice, but they certainly seem to be thriving. The young lad was having a great time :)

A great capture Rosalyn there is probably as much underground as above, I hope your week has started well, the frost nipped a few of my magnolia flowers this morning :((

Thank you very much Peter. Beware the late frosts! I'm taking care that the plum blossom doesn't get nipped!

An interesting beach, though it looks as if it's eroding. The young lad seems to be enjoying himself.

Love this one.................a perfect natural climbing frame for the kids!

The exposed roots remind me a bit of the edge of a mangrove swamp. The trees have adapted well to the erosion of the beach, but it's only a matter of time.............

Great job Rosa!

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Keith Burton club
Yes a great place for kids Keith....I quite fancied climbing it myself!

A mangrove swamp is exactly what it reminded me of :-)) Many thanks for your kind comments.

A gorgeous shot Rosa - it looks like the tree is off for a walk !!!
This shot deserves to be enlarged, there is a lot more to see and I like the red cap which is adding to the image.

I think you would suit a baseball cap like that, Rosa, especially if you wore it back to front. LOL. Cheers, Joe

Ha ha....I hate hats Joe! I would have to adopt the special walk if I did wear a baseball cap back to front. LOL!! Cheers, Rosa.

Trees + young lad = perfect combination! The exposed roots certainly make the scene more interesting, although the area looks to be beautiful anyway.

Looks like the (very genteel) English version of a mangrove swamp, but without the tidal marshy swamp, alligators, etc!

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Andy Rodker club
It did remind me of that Andy!!
