You are probably right Peter. I have all my late parents photos and love looking through them. A few that I cannot remember seeing before, and that's quite exciting! A good day for me. I hope the same for you.

Thank you John. Yes the slides seem to scan very well. I am now scanning some negatives and have come across a couple of myself that I can't remember ever seeing! Yes I do have hundreds, which I am taking real care of to hand down to my children.

No it wasn't 1963 as my sister would have been a baby then, but it may have been 1965 now that I look at it again! I am enjoying scanning all the old photos my parents left me to take care of.

I remember those days too... Winters were cold, and we had snow.. None of this 'Global Warming', and we could go out and play in it without some namby pamby 'elf n safety' 'might get hurt' attitude!

I have been scanning all the old photos and have come across some great ones that I haven't seen for years, and some I cannot remember seeing! We loved the snow when we were kids, but I think in 64/65 I was more interested in playing my Beatles and Walker Brother's LP's than joining the younger members of the family outside ;-))

Treasured moment Rosalyn, it's the little things I like, for instance where someone has scooped some snow off that back hedge presumably for a snowball fight and cold hands ready to go into warm water back in doors (makes you grit your teeth)!!!

You describe it very well Maurice. It really takes me back when I look through the old photos. I remember that hold hands feeling and the pins and needles when warming up ;-))
