Late --

The Canada Goose [ Branta canadensis ] -- some are migratory geese, but according to the Wildlife Resource Commission, in the past 20yrs many stay year round.
Some are banded on a leg and if one can see the id mark, there is a website to report it. Used to have a toll-free number "but due to budget cuts in July 2017 it has been discontinued"..

Now, why doesn't that surprise me !

The Clematis [in the 5yrs we've been here] has only bloomed once during warm months. The temps were all over the place this year - with Clematis blooming and also Lilacs !

Beautiful images, each one! I love being able to see the close-ups too! My favorite is the Clematis, gosh they are gorgeous, aren't they! :)
