'Bad Penny' ..
and Friends -
lot of Family, too -
the Harmonica Belt belongs to a talented soul -
Walt Atkison .. met this evening -
it was fun stretching my music from what I've known for years -
they asked me to play my 24" frame drum along with them -
Americana .. some Bluegrass .. and some Country -
plus whatever else the Band played -
talk about 'paying attention' !
some songs I'd not heard before -
many I had, but never accompanied anyone on them -
an experience I won't forget -
will treasure it -
Thanks, Bad Penny [ Ron, Gwen & Family ] and that Harmonica-playing man, Walt !

Just wish the management was able to keep it going ... there is no place like it now.
Some are .. sort of, but not the same !
Bill - don't y'all have a local Studio where the guys can cut a disc. We have several in this area and even in Florida, there were people who would cut a disc just so they could put their Label on it and get the word out that they existed !
Tell the guys to hunt ! Never know ..
Best to you,
Peggy
P.S.
There was one song I loved that Ron [ of Bad Penny wrote ] - he knew how much I loved playing the frame drum along with it.
He would cut his eyes at me ... "now?"
And here we would go!
To say we 'took the roof off' -- almost !
